After the positive responses from my Christmas Market stall (thanks), I have jumped into the New Year with organising my first exhibition on 15 May – 12 Jun 2019 at Cafe Oasis, Bowleaze Cove, Weymouth. I will be sharing space with fine artist Georgie McBurney.
I will be exhibiting my felted animals and pictures inspired by the Jurassic Coastline where I live, the elements, nature and as a newly retired vet, animals (which probably doesn’t surprise those who know me).
My partner Pete is pleased that I am finally beginning to use my many bags of gathered up fleece from local sheep so there will be some space created in the house. I have been enjoying the process of dyeing the fleece with natural dyes such as avocado, red onions and rusty nails; and I look forward to showing you the results in May.
